Arts for Labour is involved in initiatives to develop an arts and media policy for the Labour Movement that reflects the social and technological changes of our times. Arts for Labour provides a forum for exchanges of information and for debate about current arts policies and programmes. Arts for Labour is involved in advising the Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport and makes an important input to policy documents and forums. Arts for Labour seeks wider access to, and involvement in, the arts for all sections of the community especially the most excluded and disadvantaged. Arts for Labour is campaigning for wider representation in the structures for arts and funding at all levels. Arts for Labour wants to see better working conditions and wages for those in the arts. Arts for Labour will campaign for a fair share of national resources for the arts.
