Around 1990 some friends and I developed an interest in low-budget, home-grown film-making, having seen some efforts made by others in the field. Particularly impressive was "The Resurrection of Michael Myers," a "Halloween" spoof made by some guys in Germany using merely a household camcorder. In the UK, Brian Davies (calling himself Videas Productions) made several excellent camcorder movies - "The Exhumation," "Last Day at the Beach," "Lady in Danger" - and has been interviewed more than once on TV for his efforts. |

London Film Festival
The London Film Festival presented by the British Film Institute is presented in the three cinemas of the National Film Theatre on London's South Bank every November.
