Arts for Labour believes that cultural activities should be high on the political agenda. A4L campaigns for the recognition of the importance of the arts in peoples lives, and fights for an arts and medla policy that is central to Labour's vision for a better future. Arts for Labour expects to see issues of social exclusion and disadvantage to be addressed through the arts and works with the wider Labour movement to achieve this. Annually at the Labour Party Conference, Arts forLabour run a radical fringe event to draw attention to key political debates and issues important to the arts. |
